My 30th birthday

I turn 3o years old today, almost out of the calendar, I am not really worried about my age because it's only a number and I don't feel that I'm 30. Just so thankful that I reached to this age and blessed with a wonderful family.

Past Friday was my father in laws 74Th birthday, Since they are here in Florida right now, we decided to gave him a surprise birthday party. Past Saturday we gave him a surprised party. He is not the only one who was surprised, including me, cos the party was for the two of us. My Mom in law bought a cake for me. That is why when we ordered the cake for Dad It was only a small cake cos Mom will bought another cake. My Hubby invited my closest Pinay friend, I was kinda embarrass cos I only prepared bam-i, but thank God my bam-i was so yummy,they all liked it and nothing left. I never thought that my Hubby will gave me a party because I already told him not to gave me one.

To my Hubby and my In Laws..Thank you so much for making my special day a memorable one..and also for the gifts...To my friends and relatives who sent there wishes, Thank you so much.

Christmas Party In Brandon

Past Saturday, we went to Brandon. My friend Mariecil invited us for a small Christmas Party. A Filipina from Cebu, I meet her once during Jemma's wedding in Bartow last year and we only talk online since then. She also invited Jemma and another Fil/Am couple. The three Pinays are all from Cebu, I'm the only one from Bohol. We had a great time, even though we just talk online but it's like we've known each other for a long time. Specially the other Pinay (Condesa) I just meet her that day, She's very nice. The food was all good, and so with the wine. Our partners had a great time too,talking about men's thing..LOL

We had exchanging gift too. Mariecil gave the girls a sweater and toys for the kids. The best part of the party is the picture taken, our Hubby's was our paparazzi, we dont know were to look at, as the four of them will shot at the same time.

The trip was a little bit far, we slept like a rock that night and woke up late, got hang over from the party.

I will take my actual exam for driving this 28th. For now I'm a little bit nervous, scared, but hoping that I will pass the exam. If that happen i would be the most wonderful present I'm going to receive. My Hubby and i were talking about getting a car for me. But I am not really sure how were going to do it as we are a little tight of our finances at the moment. He said he will apply for Finance Mortgages through the bank. I really don't like having mortgages cos I'm scared we cannot pay for it but he told me people live through credit. He's very confident that we will be approve on that in case were going to pursue our plans because we have a very good record in paying our credits. So hopefully God will bless our plans and let me pass the exam cos I can't wait to Hot Rod.

Past Saturday, we watched the annual Christmas Parade in Town. The parade starts at 12 noon and ended up at 1:30, it was a long one. It was beautiful but not as beautiful compare to last year. Don't have much giveaways and only few participate in the parade. It was fun though. Roberta was having fun, and received lots of candies and stuff toys.

After few months of staying here in the US, I don't feel comfortable being left alone in the house whole day. I'm not use to of being alone and that I'm scared of being home alone. My Hubby told me that he will get a home security systems for me to feel safe and secure. That time I did not agree because we can't afford to have another bill. Few months ago, we discuss about having a home security monitoring system again. This time we both agree, he is very concern about my safety and he wants me to feel safe when he is not around.

my Christmas tree..not yet done in decorating, lucking of poinsettia.

Since i got back from our thanksgiving trip in Virginia I've been busy preparing the house for Christmas. This year we hold the family Christmas dinner. I already had my Christmas tree put up but I'm not done with it yet cos it needs more poinsettia, my mom in law bought me some and i have to wait for her on the 14Th to come,I got few Christmas lights inside and outside of our house. I'm almost done wrapping the gifts. I'm re arranging the decors and put some new decors i bought in VA., Glad my Hubby had 4 days off left since our thanksgiving trip, he helped me did the moving and he also did his honey do list. So far I am almost done with my project. I'm doing it fast as i could so everything will be ready before Christmas time. All for now....more updates later.

I am here in VA. with my family. We arrived here last night and we will stay until Friday. Were going to celebrate our Thanksgiving here with my Parents in law. It was raining all the way here and even today still raining. The weather was not really good, very foggy and so cold. When I woke up this morning the first thing i saw was the 3 deer. I took some pics of it but my cam was low battery. After our breakfast, we had our road trip. We reached north Carolina and seen some more deer and turkey along the road. Just a little disappointed because I thought I can still see the trees with there beautiful leaves, no more leaves left only the branches.
I also saw plenty of live Christmas trees for sale, to bad I already brought Christmas tree in Walmart.

It was a long day but I had a lot of fun. All for now, it's so cold...I'm freezing to death.

I received my Passport last Saturday so with the copy of our report of marriage,my old passport and the copy of our marriage license. It only took 1 month from the date of renewal. The Consul told us 2 months. Glad it came early though. Now I can go home in case I'll be homesick again. Still new to me seeing my new passport with my married name on it. I had some few things that I get rid off and some free stuff i got from craiglist,I feel so bored, so I decided to have a yard sale. I had it today, My First yard sale didn't turned out great. I only had few costumers and I only earn $ 2 dollars.LOL! I started my yard sale at 9:45 am up to 1 pm. There were customers who dropped by and asked some items that I don't have, gosh!! I'm just having a yard sale, I'm not walmart! It was a nice experience even though I didn't sell much. My niece who help me was kinda disappointed cos it was her 1st yard sale also and she only earn 20 cents.LOL! She brought some stuff that she get rid off and help me put up the items also. AT the end of our yard sale I gave her $1 bucks so she will not be totally upset. My Hubby felt bad because she was expecting many will come cos the weather was cool.

I remember when I was still a student, one reason I don't like going to school is the Math subject. I don't like it since the very first day my teacher introduce that subject to me. I went out today to checked the mail box, then I saw my neighbor Die playing with his older brother. I was thinking why he's not in school..When i opened my mail box, it's empty, no mail in it. Then the little boy shouted at me, saying no mail today cos it's Veterans Day! I have no idea that today is a Holiday.

As a Filipino, it is very important for me not to miss what's going on in my Country. Few months after I arrived here in the US, I started missing the news and my favorite tv shows in the Philippines. I asked my Hubby if we can transfer to another satellite network company, I heard that Directv offer the Tfc. He called right away and set for appointment. After few days, we had our Tfc. Thanks to Direct TV, since we had our Tfc my life has change. I don't feel homesick anymore. Now I am updated with the latest news and events in my country and able to see my favorite tele nobelas.

Now me and my Hubby are planning of moving on to another County. We want to live near to his working place. First thing I asked is about my directv. He was teasing me that were going to still have our Direct TV in Florida sense were just moving to another County. He knew I can't live without it. I sleep, I eat and woke up with it, not because they have Tfc but because they have good services and a lot more to offer for their customers that we did not find in the other satellite network that we subscribe to before. Also, directv is a little cheaper compare to other networks. With or without Tfc i will definetly subscribe and stock for life with Directv.

Past Saturday, we attended RJ's birthday party. He is the Hubby of Perje, one of our Fil/Am couple friends. He turned 75 years old. We all had a blast. The food was great. We had fun playing, dancing and singing. Were able to meet some of our Fil/Am couple friends that we usually see only during special occasions. Trick or Treat 09

We had so much fun past Halloween. We went trick or treating. This year i did not wear costume. My daughter wear a bamboo bee costume and she looks very pretty in it. She had more fun compare to last year as she she bigger now and not really pain in butt. She walked without complained, carrying her basket. Were trying to help her carry the basket as it was already heavy but she doesn't want us to helped her. She was not scared of those people who wear scary costume either. We went to a haunted house and what a shame..I was scared to death, I was so embarrassed. I was like a child holding tight on my Hubby's shirt. My daughter who supposed to be the one who get scared wasn't scared at all. When we got home, my Hubby ended up digging the candies in the basket and he first ate it.

Long Lost Bff............She's back!

Just received a txt message from my Mom, My heart jumped for Joy when i read the txt. My Bff Kuya Nerissa texted her after a very long time, asking where I am now, my number and my e-mail address. I've been looking for her in friendster, facebook, bolanon.com and even posted at the bulletin in friendster but i did not received any response. My Mom said that she needs help, her Mom will undergo surgery operation and that she is in the hospital attending her Mom. I called my Mom right away and asked her cellphone number. I called Kuya Nerissa but the darn signal was so bad! it's cutting on and off, but i did not put the phone down. I'm dying to hear her voice. Got tears in my eyes when i heard her voice, i don't understand what she's saying but i knew she knew it was me. I sent her a text message telling her i will call again tomorrow. It's late in the evening but I don't feel sleepy yet. I am so happy and excited to hear about Kuya Neri. She is my Bff in Bohol. She's like a younger Sister to me. SOmetimes i got jealous cos she is close to my Mom. People think were crazy cos everytime were together, were so wacky and the name we called each other is kinda weird too. She called me Mami Ninz and I called her Kuya Neri.

I lost communication with her because my cellphone was stolen. Now that our communication is back, I will never lose her again.

I was tickle to death this evening when my Hubby came home from work. I was in Roberta's room cleaning and he drag me to the kitchen to show me something. He told me i hope i will not get mad and he let me close my eyes.I hate surprises ,but i closed my eyes..when he told me to open it , i saw this cute figurine for Halloween decoration. I was kinda speechless deep in side cos i was expecting something different, a girl stuff or something but not a figurine. I appreciate anything from him. When Halloween is over, i will put that thing in our keepsake cabinet and will keep it till forever.

I'm kinda confused, why he gave me that gift, maybe i already look like scare screw cos I've been cranky in the past days. Maybe he want me to think that I'm scary as the scare screw when I'm not in the mood..LOL!! To my Kulas, thank you for the gift and for the wonderful dinner. Also for supporting and understanding me always. 5254!!!

Halloween Costume

Yesterday we bought a Halloween costume for Roberta. We had a hard time choosing the best costume for her. We had our last minute shopping and most of the beautiful costumes are already sold. Before the day end, we finally found a costume for our daughter. It's a Bee Fairy costume. She like it very much. She looks very cute and pretty with the dress. I took a picture of her wearing the costume, she's the cutest bee I've even seen. She can't wait for the treat or treating.

Camping

Our Fil/Am couple invited us for a Camping, Boating and Fishing this weekend. This is there second invitation to us,the first time we refused because we were busy. They just bought a very big Tent, good for 9 persons. They wanted to have company and they know that my Hubby love to go boating and fishing so they invited us.

At first I have second thoughts if we have to go or not because I am concern about Roberta, the weather is still very warm and she cannot sleep without A/C. Me and my Hubby had a hard time deciding if we have to go or not. He like to go but he is also concern because he also cannot sleep without A/C. We both love doing outdoor activities. We have 2 boats but not working so good, my Hubby is still working on it. We have Canoe but I'm scared to ride on it. We decided to give it a try. We will go Camping this weekend. I asked my friend about what things to bring in going Camping. This is my first time going camping, I have no idea what to bring. When she told me on what to bring, I want to back out. She mention a lot of things, my Hubby was teasing me to just bring the entire house except for the sink..LOL!

My hubby is very excited already, he told me to start preparing now. If i have to bring the entire house then no sense of preparing. I just have to remove the sink and were ready to go! hehehe...

Before he went to bed, he looked at the weather channel and he was very happy when he knew that the weather on Saturday will be 76 during day time and 54 @ night..Were really looking forward on this adventure. Surely a blast for everyone.

Diet Update

So far i lost 4 lbs., I am 126 lbs. now. It's really hard! Sometimes i had to cheat, instead of eating 1 cup of rice, i will make it 2. No more sweets and most of the foods that i eat now are non fat foods. Even the chicken, i Peel off the skin and just baked it or steam it, boil veggies with very little salt in it, it's tasteless!

Before i love to watch bizarre foods, now i quit on watching it cos my tummy starts to rumble every time i see food. I'm teasing my Hubby that i will go home now cos he starve me to death. I was not thinking, he is also starve to death. His popcorn diet with matching fish oil is working good.

Long way to go....but i will not give up. I want my 26 waistline back! LOL..

Passport Renewal

This past Monday, we went to Fort Lauder dale to renew my passport and report our marriage. I had my appointment at 2:30. We left at around 8 a.m., It was a long drive. I fall asleep on the way so with my daughter. When i woke up, were almost on our destination. We arrived there at around 12 noon, we first search the location of the consulate office then after we found it we went out and had our lunch.

After lunch we went back to the consulate office. I was surprised when we get inside the office there are lots of Filipino's waiting for the consul. The office was full pack. A very nice Gay entertained me, he get all my papers and took a picture of me for my passport. We waited for a little while as the Consul was late, she was helping a Filipino who is in jail.

I was 3rd on the line, the processing was very fast. The Consul was very nice too. She called my name and let me sign all the documents. The passport renewal will took 2 months. So by Dec., i will receive my new passport and a copy of our report of marriage. We left the office at 3:30, arrived home at 7:30, were all tired and we all slept like a rock.

No Mail!

It's been 2 days that we did not receive mail, even junk! It is really unusual. First time, straight for 2 days that we have no mail. My hubby said that if tomorrow we still have no mail, he will call the post office to check if everything is doing fine.It's a good thing though that we have no mail, mean to say no bills!!! LOL

Passport Renewal & Report of Marriage

I will go to Fort Lauder dale on Monday, Oct. 5 to Renew my Passport and Report our Marriage in the Philippine Consulate Office. I already called for my appointment and everything is all set. First time I will be on that side of Florida, I'm excited to see Miami, only a few minutes from Lauder dale. I'm even more excited to drive in the interstate..Everything that is first is fun, exciting and challenging..I'll keep my finger cross..

This morning i went out to put mail on the mailbox, I was surprised when i opened the door, a cool fresh air hit on me. It put smile on my face, at last! summer is over! Now, we can start riding our bikes again, can't wait to be outside.It will be a big help for my diet, burn more fats. This time Roberta have her own bike , I'm sure she will surely love to be outside. Enough for now ,of like being prisoners, staying inside the house 24/7, damn weather is as hot as hell, yucks!

Today, i saved electricity, I did not turn on the A/C in the living room and i opened the windows for the first time of this year.

Driving Updates

Past weekend, my Hubby let me drove on the back roads, I hate it! I don't like the back roads,grrrrr....! I am not yet confident with my driving and I don't trust my driving. My Hubby always told me that I'm doing great, even if I'm not. I'm just so bless with him because he is very patient, instead of he will yield at me, I'll be the one to yield at him, then he will stop talking. LOL!
So far no wreck, one thing he's been proud of. We talked to some Filipinas here and they share their driving experienced, some of them had a wreck while practicing.
I still have to work on reverse, i had a rough time in doing the back up and make my self pay attention to the road and not to the instructor who is very talkative...LOL!! I am planning of taking actual exam before this year end. Pray for me guys!

Back to Normal

My Dr. called me yesterday telling me about the result of my blood work. My thyroid is back to the normal range,mean to say my thyroid is making enough hormones now.I had a relief. I still have to continue taking my medication for 2 months to stabilize the condition. Thanks God for the fast recovery.

Serious Diet

Yesterday, me and my hubby had our Dr.'s appointment. I had my blood work for my thyroid and my hubby had some discussion about his weight. His triglycerides are way up high. Our Dr. put us on a serious diet. The Dr. gave us some list of what to eat and what not to eat. She told me to eat brown rice instead of white, I tried brown rice before but I didn't like it but I'm willing to try it agian. We wanted to start our diet right away but we still have plenty of food in the ref. that we bought last weekend, so we decided to start it this weekend, but we already adjusted our meal. I just ate 1 cup of rice, drink plenty of water and ate fruits. I boiled veggies and sprinkle a very little salt, it was tasteless..yuck! My tummy starts to rumble now, I'm very hungry already. I hope i can survive,I know it's hard but i really wanted to lose some weight and win back my weight before.I know my Hubby can survive, he done this before and he succeed.

Yesterday, i weight 130 lbs., Just now I weight 129 lbs...i already lose 1 lbs..hopefully this will work out fine..wish me good luck! heheh

Follow Up

Last Monday I went to see my Dr. for follow up check up for my hypothyroidism. The Dr. explained to me everything. She told me to get active, exercise and do some serious diet. I gain too much weight, over weight for a 4"11 Filipina, 130.8 lbs. When the Dr. told me to do some serious diet so i will sexy, my Hubby react, He told the Dr. he doesn't like skinny women and that my size is fine. Grrrr....i want to keep his butt! LOL!

So far I feel better everyday. My hubby always remind me to take my medicine. Sometimes if he forgot to remind me, he called just to remind about my medicine. My Sister in the Philippines have the same case as mine and we take same medicine. So i guess it's in the blood or hereditary to have hypothyroidism.

My Hubby grab the opportunity when were at the Dr.'s office, He also had his check up, just for round up! It's been a while he did not undergo check up. He have some issues on his knee, a little cyst in his belly, so i told him to see a Dr. before it's too late. Glad he listened to me. Last Wednesday, the Dr. called here at the house telling she already had the results of my Hubby's blood work, knee x-ray and stomach x-ray. Thanks God, the cyst is just an ordinary cyst, no big deal about it and the knee is fine. He have some problems on his cholesterol, it is low. He have to take medication and bring it up to the normal level. Low cholesterol can cause heart problems and etc. if not being medicated. Another problem is his Triglycerides, it is very high 342 and the normal is 150. The Dr. advise him to stop or cut down eating foods with starch. I don't know why he is high on that, to think he just eat popcorn for dinner. He ate rice, fries and potato sometimes but very rare since he gain weight.

Were going to see the Dr. on the 28th for another follow up, another blood test for me,another needle experience. My Hubby will have his follow up too. The Dr. will give his medication for the cholesterol and give us diet plan, his Dr. is my Dr. too.

Learner's Permit

Last Aug 31, I took the learner's permit test at the DMV office in Crystal River. Praise God! I pass the exam. After the test, my hubby brought me to the back roads and tried my driving ability. At first i was so nervous. Glad i have a very nice instructor, very patient and won't yield. Then he told me to drove to the highway, I was scared to death. My Hubby told me to just listen to him,and follow every word his going to say and everything will be alright. Everything was alright but it's like my soul separate from my body that time. First time i drove on the highway for 60 mph. When i step out of the car, my arms and legs are shaking and i had some step neck.

Since then every time we go out, I'll be the one to drive. I surprised my Hubby last weekend, I drove to the town. The traffic was heavy but i managed it. First time i tried parking the car and it was not bad,i did not hit any car, a little crocked as what my hubby told me. I still have to work on reserve,cos i step the on the gas left and right turn,i jump to the other lane and change lane, i just change lane without looking or checking if its okey to change.LOL!

This weekend i will drive again.My Hubby is more excited than me. Before I'm the one who will took pictures of him driving, but now he is the one who took pictures of me.

Hypothyroidism

I'm back again! I was sick for almost a month, I was not feeling well due to some head ache, bitter taste, vomiting and stomach ache. At first i thought i was pregnant because I didn't have my mens for Aug., i was craving for food also, The worst part was im craving for Filipino foods. I let my hubby bought a pregnancy test, I'm taking pills but i know it's not safe, their still possibility that I will get pregnant specially i forgot to take it daily. The result of the test was Not Pregnant, i used the three pregnancy test to make it sure but still it was negative.

I don't like seeing a Dr., every time my hubby told me to call for Dr. appointment,i won't listen, he called me "HH" stands for Hard Headed when it comes to Dr.'s. But this time i called for a Dr.'s appointment. My Filipina friend have a Friend who is a Dr. and happens to be a Filipina and from Bohol too.

I had my appointment last Aug. 21st, My Dr. is from Jagna Bohol and her name is Sheila, she's very nice and I was very comfortable talking with her because we speak both Binol anon. I told her everything i feel and suffer. She asked everything about my health history, I remember my OB told me to look for a family Dr. because my thyroid result was high. So i had some blood test again, it sucks! the nurse pock me twice, she did not see the vain, grrrr!
Sheila told me that what i feel was symptoms of Hypothyroidism. She explained to me what Hypothyroidism is and she told me to research it on the web to know more about it. We have to wait for the result of my blood test and she will get my records from my OB to compare the results before she can give the right medication. She gave me medicine for the bitter taste and for the head ache. I felt so bad because I thought I'll be okey after seeing a Dr. but nothing happened.

Monday, Aug. 31, Sheila called me and telling me she already have the results, she confirm i have hypothyroidism. At first i was worried, but she told me nothing to worried, she send her prescription to Winn Dixie pharmacy. She told me to take the pills daily.
I've been taking the medicine for nine days now and so far I already feel the difference. I feel better now, not 100 % but better compare to yesterday. I have my next Dr.'s appointment on the 14th. Hopefully no more hypothyroidism.

Road trip..Destination Orlando

My Hubby used to call me everyday on his way home, yesterday after talking to him telling me he's on his way home, he called back. I was surprised and kinda nervous, it was unusual. When i asked him why he called back, he told me that were going to resume our road trip, we stop it since we had our vacation in St. Augustine. I was very happy, I told her I'm doing fine and I'm not homesick. He really insist I need to go out sometimes and that he miss our road trips also. Sense I've been craving for pork liver and he want to eat liver also so he choose Orlando as our destination.Will be going to the Oriental Store first for grocery shopping. He also wants to see the B52 bomber. He mention a lot of places, including the street were the GRO's can be seen..LOL!!! He always passed there there, almost everyday and he kept on telling me about the girls that she saw on the streets. He said we will pass by the International drive were all the scenic place were found like the wet&wild,aquatica,replays and universal studios..I didn't slept good last night, so excited.

Today, it all happened. We went to Orlando, shopped at the Oriental Store, very busy cos it's weekend. First thing we got is the pork liver, I bought 5 packs, fish, vegetables, pansit canton, palabok and seasonings. Then as planned we passed by the street were to find the GRO's, unlucky i did not saw one. Then to the bomber plane, it was a huge..huge..plane. I looked like an ant when i stood beside the plane. The weather turn bad, it started to rain..we drove fast to the International drive, so nice there. I want him to stop the car and took some pics. but my Hubby just told me we will go back there some other time, I feel so bad! grrrrrrrrrrrr... the rain starts to pore also. It hurts so bad but I cant do anything, my driver doesnt want to stop. He knew i feel so bad so he stopped at the Russell's candy store, I ate all different kinds of samples just to forgot the International drive but still it ain't working! My Hubby promise me that we will go back there, just dont know when..:(

All for now...will attend church tomorrow and give our son a surprise b-day party..

Anniversary card from me...

We celebrated our first wedding anniversary last July 19. It was just an ordinary day for us but a very special one. We woke up early had breakfast, shower, fix ourselves, open our anniversary cards and anniversary gifts for each other. I was so happy my Bana like the gift i gave to him. He even brought it with us to church and showed it to our friends. The best gift he gave me is the flower that he put on the church lobby and put the dedication on the church program. I was so flattered when our Pastor mention my name but i was tickle to death. Our Pastor had a hard time reading the last sentence of the dedication because it was a Filipino. Even though he is a Filipino, he only knew very few Filipino words. He even gave joke cos at last he already knew the Filipino of I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH my Bana wrote MAHAL NA MAHAL KITA in the dedication.
We had lunch with the entire Nichols family, treat by my parents in law. My Bana showed to them the gift he received from me, hes like a child very proud of what he gets. The family spent with us the whole afternoon, glad i made a maja blanca cake. They ate it all and they all like it, except for my Bana, i forgot to gave him his share..LOL!!

After the whole gang left, we went to the park for a visit, the place when we got married. Reminiscing the happy moments happened a year ago.

Last June 28 to 30, we went to St. Augustine Fl.,The Oldest City here in the USA. My Hubby had a 1 week day off, their company shutdown for the 4th of July. We considered that vacation as our early wedding anniversary celebration. We had a blast and planning of going back there someday.

11 Months Wedding Anniversary

Today is our 11 months wedding anniversary. I can't believe how time pass by so quickly, It's just like yesterday I said I Do! My hubby asked me last night if I had any regrets..I told him 100 % no regrets. I am the most fortunate one. I marry the most wonderful man alive..heheeh..It's been a year i married him and he is just the same man i meet 2 years ago.

Im Back

It's been a while I did not write anything here. I was not feeling well the past few weeks, then got sick again last week. Even this week I'm still sick but not as bad as last week.

At last I already had my period, it took 5 days and it was horrible. The cramps was so bad, very painful. I had some sleepless nights. I cried in the middle of the night and woke up my hubby, asked helped cos of too much pain. He bought a Midol for my menstrual cramps and took it. I didn't knew that it has some side effects. It makes me hungry, makes my heart beat faster and I made me more sleepless cos it has caffeine on it. Things become worst, I took 8 tables of Midol, after that i stopped cos I can't take my stomach cramping, i just keep on eating but still I feel hungry.
I called my Dr. and told her what happened to me. She just told me everything is falling into the right place, and what i feel is normal.

Last Sunday I start taking my birth control pills to help regulate my blood. So far the pills didn't gave me bad side effects. I really hope my period will turn back to normal. My hubby can't wait for me to get pregnant.

Now, I am doing some catch up, doing the things I missed doing last week when I was sick.. Do some cleaning, making sure the house is clean before we leave for vacation next weekend.

Still no Period!!

I'm done taking my 10 days pills, but until now no mens yet! I've read some post about irregular mens, same on my situation, they also take pills to have their mens back. Their results were positive, some of them are bleeding and heavy flow. But on my case..it's negative. No signs either. Today I will call my Dr. and tell her about the result,will see what she's going to do next.

A Very Special Love

I watched the movie 'A very special Love' by Sarah Geronimo and John Loyd Cruz in the TFC channel. It was a very nice movie. I cried, smile and laughed with it. I was so touched! When my hubby came home from work, he saw my eyes with the big eye bugs,he asked me if I'm homesick again. I told him about the movie and he was laughing out laud. He said next time I just had to be careful in case our neighbor might hear me. Maybe they will think Rob's wife is going crazy na..LOL!!!

Pastor's Visit

Today was not a good day for me but it ended up good. We had some small discussion with my Hubby. Around 5 p.m. I fall asleep. Then he woke me up telling me to fix my self because we had some visitors. It's our Pastor and his family. Huh! it was an ambush..hehehe..I forgot it's Thursday and it's visitation day. We miss church last Sunday cos I was not feeling well, they been to Alabama the last 2 weeks so they didn't see us for a while. They always check on us and they are so proud of us because they see us being a happy couple and in love with each other. They are Filipino but grow up here in the US, they just have few Tagalog words, they sound funny when they speak Tagalog. They want me to cook crispy pata..this would be a challenge for me..heheh

There visit means a lot to us, I think it was for a reason, we had some issues and God send someone to make me feel better cos I'm not a fighter. I quit easily. The best thing that happened tonight was my Hubby accept God as his personal saviour. I am so happy and proud of him. Despite of us being lazy sometimes in going to church, God is always monitoring us. He doesnt want that we will go on the wrong path. He always came when he knows I needed him most.Thank you Father God.

Dr.'s Visit

Yesterday I went to see my OB,when i called for an appointment and told them that I'm in pain they scheduled me right away. I drag my Sis in law to brought me to the Center, she work at night and slept during day time,I'm just lucky i have her as my Sis in law. When i got inside the center, I was called right away. Everything was fast. I talked to my OB and gave her all the details. She let me undergo again some blood test,urine test and vaginal ultrasound..it sucks!! The result was just the same as before, I still have those tiny cyst and again she told me that their is no big deal on that tiny cyst. She told me that she didn't see any problem with my ovary. She will do some lab test on my blood and urine to see if i have kidney and thyroid problems. On my irregular period issue she was kinda confuse why until now I don't have my period yet. So she gave me medicine that will help me have my period, I have to take it for ten days. She also gave me birth control pills to be taken if i have my period, it will help regulate my blood and help my period back to it's normal cycle.

If after 10 days if I will not have my period, I have to call and set for another appointment and do more test. I really hope my period will come back to normal. I don't like going to the Dr.,spreading my legs for ultra sound and that needle thing..grrr!! it really sucks!!

If my period become normal after 1 month, I have to see my DR. after 3 months. She wants to see me before I will get pregnant. We are trying to have a baby but just delayed due to my health issues..So hopefully makabuo na..Can't wait to see my little Rob.

Not feeling well

It's been 5 days that I am not feeling well. My chest hurts again. It's been 4 months that I don't have my mens. I tried to check if I'm pregnant but it's negative. My Dr. told me that i don't have to worry about my chest as it not a dangerous chest. In my previous examination everything was fine, but I don't understand why I have irregular mens. Why it hurts sometimes if it's natural?..OH God..confusing.! I only have 4 hours sleep due to the contraction, it bother me much. My hubby set an appointment for my Dr. visit, hopefully this week cos i can't live anymore with this pain anymore.

Last Sunday we attended Myla's 40th birthday party. She is my closest Filipina friend here in Citrus county. She's a wonderful person,down to earth and very simple. Only 3 fil/am couples was there. My Mother's day celebration

I celebrated my 2ND Mother's day with a blast. I woke up early Sunday morning, prepared breakfast. When i looked at the dining table, I saw a box and a envelope. When i get closer to it, I noticed that the card was for me, then i looked at the box, it was a Sewing machine. I was so surprised, I jumped and shout for joy, went to our bedroom and get my Bana a big hug and kisses. I had no idea how did he get the sewing machine. I mentioned to him before that I like to have one. He let our Son purchase the Sewing machine and put it in the shed. He woke up early to put it on the table. I slept like a rock, i didn't notice that he was gone for a while. It was really a big surprised for me because I told him that I just want a bra for Mother's day, we went shopping Saturday, I bought not only a bra. We ended our day taking road trips..destination Mt. Dora.

Now I am busy learning my new sewing machine. It is very different to the sewing machine i had back home in Philippines.

Last Saturday we went boating with our fil/am couple friend Myla&Joe. Me and my Hubby love boating, so we did not say no when they invited us. We spent the whole day in the river. We went to Suwanee River, very wide and beautiful river. I brought marinated chicken wings for lunch and some chips. We anchor in the middle of the river. I feel so bad because we did not see any gators, they were hiding because there was flood last month and the river is high and the water runs fast. The water was dark and lots of logs floating. Despite of all the flood effect, we still had a great time. That was my first experienced boating in a big river. I had a great time driving the boat, it was a great experience being the captain, even in a short time. It was not that easy as i thought, specially there was some logs on the river, cos of the help of my Hubby I managed the boat right.

The following day Sunday, we went to Myla and Joe's house, they invited us for swimming together with some other fil/am couples. We missed the church, we woke up late, tired from boating. We spent the whole afternoon swimming in there pool. The water was nice so with the weather.. We had a blast..it was so nice spending time with the other fil/am couple. First time I saw a Kano got drunk, and it was so funny..hehehe...It was also a celebration of the birth of there 1st grandson Ethan.

We had our Biometrics last Thursday,every thing's went well. It only took 20 minutes. I was worried at first because i thought Roberta will not cooperate, but Thanks to God she cooperate and behave well. She even face the camera without any hassle. The guy who attended us was very nice and child friendly, so i guess that what makes Roberta did well.

Our case is now in California as it was being transferred. I'm happy about it because on that case, we don't have interview..heheh.

2nd and 9th Anniversary

Today is our second year Anniversary of knowing each other and 9Th month Anniversary of being married. I received a card from him yesterday, very funny because he wanted to gave that card today but he failed to gave it. On the car way home from a birthday party yesterday,he asked me if I had a pen, I told him no. SO i tried to open the console of the car to find a pen, he said, never mind and he put his hand on the console, I tried to get his arms and he told, no pen inside. I knew he always put pen in the console. I asked him whats inside, why you doesn't want me to open it. He smiled and said, something for you, suppose to be a surprise for tomorrow,but not anymore. I was laughing..He was so cute when he said that. I open the console and saw a card. He is so sweet and thoughtful. Despite of his busy schedule,he always remember our special day. Friday night, he stop at Winn Dixie to bought condense milk, so he grab the time and bought anniversary card too.

I felt guilty because I have nothing to give, even a card. Last night before we went to bed, he was busy reading his book so i grab the opportunity to think of what to gave, It came up to my mind...I made a small banner, I wrote a dedication in it. I took a picture of my self holding the banner. I took the picture inside our bathroom..He called me , i told him I Poo..LOL!! I printed it right away and by the time he was about to brush his teeth, I inserted the picture in the mirror for him to see it. He was surprised and told me snikky...LOL..cos i made it fast. He was suspecting I did something unusual because I went to the bathroom twice. He was very with the card. We had our family lunch today, I didn't knew he brought the picture, He let his family saw it. I am so amazed with him because he appreciate every little things i gave and did to him.

I thank God everyday for giving me a very wonderful husband.

My Filipina friend invited me and my family for a pool birthday party this Saturday. His step son will turn 5 years old. Yesterday afternoon, i bought a new pair of tankini swimsuit at Bealls. I still have my two piece i used last year but I can't dare to wear it anymore as I gain so much weight this year. I tried loosing weight but it's so hard! I am not really serious on my diet because we are trying of having another baby. I will be serious after having our second child. Can't wait to have my extra small size back.

Last Monday my parents in law had their dinner here in our house. First time they came for a dinner since I am here. My Hubby always talked to them about my cooking. I also brought Pinoy foods during parties. I am so amazed how they like the filipino foods. They asked me when i am going to invite them for dinner, since they are here in Florida so we invited them. Thanks God, they liked what i prepared for them. I cooked Palabok and Cassava cake for the first time, and thank God, it was perfect. They loved it and asked me to cook on their birthday. I was so flattered and already start thinking of what to cook on there coming birthdays.

I had my first egg coloring last night so with my little noiser. We had a blast designing the eggs and after that eating the eggs. We left few eggs for tomorrow. Today we had our shopping for some plastic eggs to be hide for tomorrow. I bought an Easter basket for my little girl. We will be celebrating our first Easter Sunday here in Florida in my Sister in laws house. They requested me again to cook a Filipino food. They like Filipino a lot. I can't wait for tomorrow so with my baby girl.

Bingo in the House

My life is still very busy now a days. Still working with my flower garden and planting few vegetables. It is very hard to plant flowers and veggies here because the soil is not good, just like sand plus the squirrel keep on digging my garden. I want to finish planting before summer comes. It's still spring but the weather is already like summer . I'm getting even more darker everyday. My hubby like it so much and i hate it so much..hehehe...grrrrr!!! I need whitening lotion!!! lol..

I just enrolled online for the drug and alcohol course. I am serious now of getting my restricted driver's license. I feel so bored staying at home and being dependent with my Hubby almost 24/7. Can't go out with out him..I want to do things by myself and go somewhere by myself too. Feel so bad for him, I have to drag him sometimes after work if I have to buy something in the store. Just so blessed of being him as my Hubby because he is very patience, understanding and supportive. I can't wait to drive in highway 44...I admit I am scared, I don't want to die due to car crash but I have no choice..they said..driving here in the US is more than necessity than privilege..

I called my Mom in the Philippines last night and we talked for one hour and 20 minutes. She told me my elder Bro made her an FS account, she have her latest pictures there and I'm so glad for that.Seeing her latest photo everyday really a big help ease my homesick. I really miss my Mom, and cant wait to see her again. Even my relatives were also happy seeing my Mom's FS because she is the darling of the crowd, she make every ones laugh with her jokes. That is why she is love by everybody in the family.

She will be online on Monday. She wants to see us, she misses ROberta so much..hmm..not on me..hehehe..
She told me also that there is already an Internet connection in the place where she live. I told my Hubby about it and we are planning of giving her a computer and applied for Internet so she don't have to go to a cafe.

Hopefully we can save money for my Mom's computer co'z I really want to see her everyday.

Citrus Fair

This afternoon we will go to the Annual Inverness Citrus Fair. My Hubby will come home early today just to take us to the fair. This will be our first Citrus Fair experience. I'm sure Kiray will have a lot of fun. There are lots of activities there such us games, carnival rides, foods, product display and many more.

It's not really sunny today, so I hope it wont rain so that we will enjoy our 1st Citrus Fair experience.

I paid the item right away and it says i can receive the item as soon as March 6 but until now I did not receive item. The location of the item is in California. I have my TFC today. Thanks to Direct TV! The installer came early to installed it. I had my nap when it was being installed, my Hubby woke me up when it was already finished. I enjoyed watching the Filipino shows now. It has been a long time I missed watching my favorite show, now I can watch them again and anytime I want to. My hubby keep on asking me whats funny every time I laughed..LOL..!! The first show i watched was the Singing Bee and then the Wowowee..My hubby is hoping that I will not talk about going home now since I already have TFC. 5 Ways to Be the Husband God Wants You to Be

In the Bible, God commands, “All of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be ten?derhearted, be courteous” (1 Peter 3:8). Paying heed to these ﬁve directives can change your life and your marriage and make you the man and husband God wants you to be. It’s deﬁnitely something well worth praying about.

1. Be of One Mind

It’s horrible to have strife in a marriage. It makes us mis?erable. It affects every area of our lives. And it’s probably the closest thing to hell we’ll ever know on earth. If it goes on long enough, it can destroy everything. Jesus said, “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desola?tion, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand” (Matthew 12:25). Those are frightening predictions. But prayer is the key by which unity in the marriage rela?tionship can be maintained.

A man and wife cannot live entirely independently of one another without paying a steep price for it. It makes them incomplete. “Neither is a man independent of woman, nor woman independent of man, in the Lord” (1 Corinthians 11:11). But because men and women are different, it’s quite easy for them to get off onto completely separate paths. Even in the closest of marriages, the two partners are still not joined at the hip. You and your wife may have separate work, interests, and activities, but if you are praying with and for one another regularly, it will keep you in tune and on the same path. Without this unity of mind and spirit that prayer provides, it’s too easy to get used to the other one not being there. And if resentment about that creeps into the heart of either one of you, you can begin to hold yourself apart from one another mentally, physically, or emotionally, without even realizing it.

It is especially important to be of the same faith and beliefs. In fact, this is a good place to begin praying. Your entire relationship is compromised if you are not on the same page in this area. For example, going to separate churches, or going to a church where one of you is not happy, or one of you going to church while the other one consistently does not, all promote a lack of unity.

If you can think of other issues such as this that have caused division between you and your wife, pray speciﬁcally about them. Ask God to change your heart where necessary to bring you into unity with your wife. Where your wife’s attitude and perspective need to change, pray for her to be able to change them. Your marriage will be a strong force for good if the two of you are of one mind.

2. Be Compassionate

Have you ever seen your wife suffering, but you don’t know what to do about it? Some men become impatient with that. Others feel so at a loss or overwhelmed by it that it causes them to withdraw. If you recognize that happening to you, ask God to give you a heart of compassion. To be compassionate toward your wife is to have a deep sympathy for any area in which she suffers and to have a strong desire to alleviate that suffering.

Pray that God will give you a heart of compassion toward your wife and the patience to listen to her when she needs you to do so. It’s a ﬁne art worth cultivating. It can get you places with her where you’ve dreamed of being.

3. Be Loving

Jesus loves us with ﬁdelity, purity, constancy, and passion no matter how imperfect we are. If a man doesn’t love his wife in that same way, he will abuse his authority and his headship and as a result will abuse her. Because you are one with your wife, you must treat her the way you would your own body. You wouldn’t do anything to deliberately hurt or destroy it. You love it and care for it. “Let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself” (Ephe?sians 5:33).

Jack Hayford, our pastor for 23 years, always said he could tell when a woman was truly loved by her husband, because she grew more beautiful as the years went on. He recognized an inner beauty that doesn’t fade, but rather increases with time when a woman is loved.

You have no idea how much your love means to your wife. Don’t withhold it from her, or one way or another you will lose her. The Bible says, “Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do so” (Proverbs 3:27). Ask God to increase your love for your wife and enable you to show it in a way that makes her beautiful.

4. Be Tenderhearted

Is there anything about your wife that bothers you? Is there something that she does or says, or doesn’t do or say, that irritates you? Do you ﬁnd yourself wanting to change something about her? What happens when you try to make those changes occur? How does she respond when you show your irritation? Have you ever just given up and said, “It’s no use. She’s never going to be any different”?

The truth is, we all have a hard time changing. Try as we may, we can’t change ourselves in any signiﬁcant way. Only God can make changes in us that last. Only His power can transform us. That’s why prayer is a more tender and more certain way to see changes happen in your wife.

For example, does your wife always run late, while you like to be on time? She’s probably not doing it on purpose. She may either be a poor judge of time or else she is trying to do too much. Pray that God will help her to organize things better or not take on more than she can handle, or that she will gain a clearer concept of time. Above all, don’t let anger, harshness, or demeaning attitudes creep in. Crit?icism intended to make your wife change doesn’t work. It will never give you the results you want. The only thing that works is prayer.

So rather than be impatient with your wife’s weaknesses, ask God to give you a tender heart so you can pray for her about them. Ask Him to show you how they are a comple?ment to your strengths. And remember that, though the ways you and your wife are the same can unite you, the ways you are different can keep things interesting.

5. Be Courteous

Do you ever talk to your wife in a way that would be con?sidered rude if you were speaking to a friend or business associate? Are you kind to everyone all day at work, but then you take out your frustration, exhaustion, and anger on your wife when you get home?

STOP THAT!

Marriage is hard enough without one of the parties being rude, cruel, or inconsiderate. Nothing makes a mar?riage feel more like hell on earth. Nothing is more upset?ting, defeating, tormenting, suffocating, or emotion-provoking, nothing does more to bring out the worst in us, than a marriage where one of the partners is lacking in common courtesy. I have heard of more marriages dis?solving because the wife had been treated rudely for so long that she felt herself becoming resentful, angry, bitter, and hopeless. In other words, she was turning into the kind of person she never wanted to be. We have to care enough about our mates to stop doing things that hurt or upset them.

There is nothing more wonderful than the male voice. It is strong and deep and rich. And the sound of male voices singing together is one of the most beautiful sounds on earth. But the male voice can also be terrifying, espe?cially to women and children. Most men have no idea about the power of their voice. When a man speaks, his words have the power to create and the power to destroy. His words can be like a sharp knife that wounds and kills, or a soothing balm that heals and brings life.

I’m not saying that you shouldn’t talk honestly and openly with your wife about the issues in your lives. By all means, put your thoughts and feelings on the table. But don’t let your words turn into weapons of criticism that destroy what you want to preserve. Even when we don’t mean to, our impatience or exhaustion can make our words seem less than courteous. Remember that “the kingdom of God is not in word but in power” (1 Corin?thians 4:20). It’s not the words you speak, it’s the power of God behind them that will make the difference. Praying ﬁrst, before you talk about a sensitive subject, will give your words power and ensure that you speak them from a right heart.

Your wife was created as a gift from God to complete you. “Nor was man created for the woman, but woman for the man” (1 Corinthians 11:9). But she must be treated as the gift from God that she is, in order for that complete blessing to happen in your life. Your wife will prove to be your greatest asset if you value and honor her. The Bible tells us that “whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight” (1 John 3:22). Pray for God to help you speak to your wife in a courteous way that is pleasing in His sight, and to convict your heart when you do not.

PR1 is Gone

I noticed last week that I had PR1, I was happy about it. Even though I am not serious with my blog I still got a PR. When i checked it again the other day, the PR1was gone! Where did it go? hehehe.. With PR or no PR i don't mind, as long as i have my blog, I am happy with it.

Gardening

I've been very busy working in our yard in the past few days. We have a big yard but theirs nothing into it. Last weekend I bought some live plants, flowers and seeds in Lowes, I was a little shock because they're kinda expensive. Some of the plants I've seen are wild plants in the Philippines and sold here for 15 to 20 bucks. No choice, i still bought them. I already plant the seeds and the funny thing is that the squirrel dig my pots, I don't know if the seeds are still in the pots as it was very small seeds. My Hubby advice me to buy live flowers than seeds so i don't have to wait long. He like flowers too and been very supportive with me in working our yard.

This weekend I have to buy more live plants, flowers and soil too. Our soil here is like sand, I don't know if the plants will grow or last long on this kind of soil.

P.S. If i don't have any update with my blog, that means I'm still busy gardening.
